Monica Z - Simple Beautiful Tender
Simple Beautiful Tender is a music performance where we tell the story of Monica Zetterlund's colorful life as an artist, mother, and woman. We perform songs from her amazing repertoire. She worked with the finest lyricists and musicians, such as Hasse and Tage, Beppe Wolgers, Povel Ramel, and many more. She was loved for her sparkling humor and her ability to tell a story through her singing. In her voice, there was both humor, warmth, and wistfulness. In her final years, she spent time in a wheelchair due to a back injury, yet she remained beloved and in demand. As both a singer and actress, she gave us many strong and memorable portrayals of women.

A nightclub queen smelling of barns A lingonberry bush placed in a cocktail glass A blonde negress from the enchanted forests of Värmland Monica Zetterlund, a jazz pasha A song that halts, half-completed And pulls itself back when Fröding sat on the privy A weave of gold brocade and homespun wool But note this... the trace of melancholy over the mouth A Nordic songline, a sorrow in rose jazz

Piaf – The Song That Was Life
From the poor streets of Paris to the grand stages all over the world. The story of Edith Piaf's legendary life is intertwined with her most beloved songs. The performance is based on the novel Piaf – The Song That Was Life by author Ulla Lundqvist. We have been performing this show for many years, both in Sweden and abroad. Edith Piaf's songs and her extraordinary life story touch many people. Ulla writes in her book: "There is something terrifying and dreadful about Edith Piaf, but also something rare and beautiful. One cannot help but be moved by her, take her in, love her. It's as if her voice takes on an even deeper dimension because of everything she goes through. It washes over the audience, takes them to the dirty alleyways, makes them live the stories of the poor, of humiliation, of sorrow, makes them smile with those who love and then cry for those who die. In their hearts, she etches her song, her passion, her life.
