About Us

My name is Petra Kvist, and I run Stenaberga Gård, where I lead most of the courses and retreats. I have been teaching singers for over 20 years in areas such as stage presence, interpretation, storytelling, and body awareness. I am a certified breathwork instructor and work with both conscious and liberating breathing techniques, individually or in groups. In 2018, I trained as a Holistic Voice Yoga teacher. I have studied and practiced shamanic knowledge and ceremonies for over 20 years. I have also been performing on stage in various settings for over 30 years, touring both in Sweden and abroad.

I am passionate about working with people. The methods I use are ones I have practiced myself for many years. I know how powerful these methods are and how important they have been for me in my life. Not only to heal old wounds but also because life becomes so much more vibrant, joyful, and exciting when you look deeper into yourself and the various facets of life. Nature plays a vital role in everything we do here. It gives us greater access to ourselves, a sense of belonging, and a connection to who we are and what is important to us. Therefore, I want to share what has been and continues to be so meaningful to me in my life. And to do so in such an incredibly beautiful, nurturing place.

I was born in Lund but moved to Östergötland when I was young. I spent every childhood summer in Skåne and have always longed to return. After 30 years in Stockholm, I took the step, and it’s a decision I’ve never regretted.
